Township recruits volunteers for Development Standards Committee
THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (May 16, 2012) – The Woodlands Township is recruiting volunteers for four positions to the Development Standards Committee. The expected term is anticipated to be for one year. The Development Standards Committee is an architectural design and review group consisting of seven individuals that considers and acts upon requests for variances from property owners as well as considers appeals of the decisions made by any of the Residential Design Review Committees.

The Woodlands Residential Design Review Committee to hold meeting
THE WOODLANDS, TX (May 14, 2012) – The Woodlands Residential Design Review Committee will hold a meeting for the Village of Indian Springs (TWA) on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, The Woodlands, Texas 77381.
In accordance with state law, notice of this meeting is posted at least 72 hours in advance at the Courthouses of Montgomery and Harris Counties, inside the boundaries of the Township at its office building, and on their Web site.

Man attempts suicide in Montgomery County Jail
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, The Texas Ranger’s and The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office is currently investigating an attempted suicide that occurred at the Montgomery County Jail.
