At approximately 11:05 a.m. on the morning of Dec. 24, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office regarding a female that had been found on the side of IH-45 frontage road near the Hardy Toll Road just inside Harris County.
The information received indicated the female victim had been taken from the parking lot of Molly’s Pub, located at 24905 IH-45 in South Montgomery County.
The initial investigation revealed that after 2:00 a.m. on Dec. 24, the female victim was leaving the location and after getting into her vehicle, a male suspect forced his way into her vehicle, and assaulted her by placing his hands around her neck and chocking her until she blacked out.
The female victim was taken to the IH-45 frontage road area where she was dragged from the vehicle and into the weeds where she was again chocked until she blacked out. When she woke up she found herself in the weeds, and could hear passing vehicles. She crawled to the sound of those passing vehicles where she was spotted which resulted in the police being alerted.
