At approximately noon today, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Gate Hill Drive in The Woodlands, Texas from a victim who reported that he had just been robbed at his home by two individuals.

Five days ago at the stroke of midnight and we turned the calendar page moving into the New Year, I was not out painting the town for a change but was at home feeling a little under the weather. While kicked back with the herd watching a marathon run of a television show, I noticed the clock had already moved into the New Year without the normal hint of it's turning by the noise of fireworks.

The City of Conroe Parks & Recreation Department is proud to announce on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, the Carl Barton, Jr. Park Pond will be stocked with 2,000 Rainbow trout.  Anglers under 17 years of age are not required to have a fishing license.  There is no size limit and the daily bag limit is 5 trout.

On Sunday, around 9:30 p.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division responded to a call of an aggravated robbery at the Parkside Apartments on Six Pines Drive in The Woodlands.  Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigators also responded.

At approximately 11:05 a.m. on the morning of Dec. 24, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office regarding a female that had been found on the side of IH-45 frontage road near the Hardy Toll Road just inside Harris County. 
The information received indicated the female victim had been taken from the parking lot of Molly’s Pub, located at 24905 IH-45 in South Montgomery County.

Conroe, Texas – The City of Conroe announced that its red-light safety cameras will begin taking photos of red-light runners at designated intersections beginning January 5th, 2010. Photo-enforcement cameras will capture still images and video of red-light running violations. During a 30-day warning period, a warning notice will be issued to the vehicle’s registered owner. There will be no fine for this warning notice. At the completion of the warning period, citations will be issued.
