The Woodlands CrawPHish Festival Partners with Painting with a Twist

The Woodlands, Texas (Dec. 19, 2016) - The BB&T Woodlands CrawPHish Festival is set for March 25, 2017 at Town Green Park, located at 2099 Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands.

The BB&T Woodlands CrawPHish Festival has partnered with Painting with a Twist at 570 Sawdust Road in The Woodlands for the 2017 Art Contest. The artwork selected to win will appear on the 2017 official t-shirt for The BB&T Woodlands CrawPHish Festival. All artwork will be displayed at the festival on March 25, 2017.

Painting sessions will take place at Painting with a Twist on 570 Sawdust Road in The Woodlands from 11:00am – 1:00pm on December 17, January 21 and February 18. Art contestants must be between age 5 and 12. Pre-registration for classes is recommended at The first 25 contestants paint for free.

The BB&T Woodlands CrawPHish Festival was created as a community partnership between the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. Festival proceeds are used to fund research to help find a cure for pulmonary hypertension – a rare, complex health disease that creates high blood pressure in the lungs and that can lead to heart failure. Since its inception in 1999, local fundraising events have raised over $2M to fund research for a cure.

The BB&T Woodlands CrawPHish Festival features live entertainment from Cory Morrow, Zach Coffey & Zydeco Dots, Crawlie’s Kids Corner, crawfish and other Cajun style food and beverage.

Tickets are available for The BB&T Woodlands CrawPHish Festival The event will take place from 11:00am – 6:00pm at Town Green Park, located at 2099 Lake Robbins Drive in the Woodlands. Ticket purchase includes a plate of food and two beverages. Purchase your tickets early at the discounted price of $25 for adults (age 13+) and $15 for children (age 6-12). Children under 5 enter free of charge. Tickets purchased at the gate will be $36 for adults (age 13+) and $21.
