Sing along with your friends at The Woodlands Children's Museum

Parents and children are invited to sing along with the next Prelude concert at The Woodlands Children’s Museum, set for 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Aug. 31, 2017 – Children will have a chance to sing to their heart’s content Friday, Sept. 15, when The Woodlands Children’s Museumhosts its next Prelude Sing-A-Long Family Concert.

The interactive performance is set for 11:30 a.m. at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280.

“Singing is a wonderful teaching tool for children and is such a joyful experience,” Angela Colton, executive director of the museum, said. “And sing-alongs like this help strengthen family bonds.”

The Sept. 15 concert is part of an ongoing monthly series, the result of a partnership between the museum and Prelude Music Classes for Children.

Prelude founders, opera singer Ana Treviño-Godfrey and her husband, violinist Jonathan Godfrey, also helped establish the Houston-based Mercury chamber ensemble. Their classes help parents nurture children’s natural enthusiasm for music and give children basic music skills.

The Prelude Family Sing-A-Long is included in the museum’s admission cost of $6 per person age 1 year and older. The museum is recommended for ages 7 and under.
